In 1921 L. Tom Perry opened his fledgling law office to serve the legal needs of his clients in Northern Utah. He was joined in 1953 by his son, Ted S. Perry, and the law firm of Perry & Perry was formed. After L. Tom Perry passed away, Ted S. Perry continued to practice law until he was chosen to serve as the Circuit Court Judge in Cache, Rich and Box Elder Counties of Utah in 1978. When Ted S. Perry retired from the bench, he began the law firm Perry, Malmberg & Perry with his daughter, Jan P. Malmberg, and his son, David M. Perry. Ted S. Perry has since retired; and, the law firm has now expanded to seven attorneys. The areas of law practiced are: insurance defense, divorce and family law, contracts (including government contracts and procurement), personal injury, criminal and DUI defense, collections, estate planning and medical malpractice.
